2008 New Wilmington Mission Conference

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me” will be the theme of the 2008 New Wilmington Mission Conference (NWMC), scheduled for July 19 through 26 on the campus of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Penn. The NWMC looks to deepen the missionary spirit, seeking fulfillment of the Great Commission, with a focus on youth and adults, ages 12-25 (although all ages are welcome). NWMC uses its Presbyterian mission heritage to encourage a deep spiritual life of fellowship with God by promoting service and witness for Jesus Christ.  Returning to NWMC this year is popular author and dynamic speaker Rodger Nishioka.

To encourage participation, the Mission Outreach Committee of Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery will provide a limited number of $100 scholarships which can be used by youth or adults of the presbytery toward the cost of the conference.
